The goosedown duvet is unbelievably cosy and sinking in to our goose down pillows is utter bliss - they are supportive but not too stiff. The duvet has the perfect thick, soft and comfy texture but is still incredibly light to sleep beneath. You can't tell that it is two duvets buttoned together and it will be brilliant to ditch blankets in the summer and just use the lower tog duvet. What a great idea. The box construction is wonderful as well - what a joy to be rid of the cold, thin bits of duvet we used to get when the filling had all moved to one side. Finally we can wake up as warm and comfortable as we were when we went to sleep.
The ladderstitch cotton bed linen is also a revelation. Not only does it look beautifully classic and elegant, but it is also really soft and cool to sleep in. The only bad thing about all of this is that it is now almost impossible to get up in the morning and leave our comfy bed! (Posted on 25/02/2012)
