"Last summer I spent a couple of days in B&B at a delightful cottage in Borrowdale (in the Lake District). My partner, Mary, was away spending a 'girlie' birthday weekend with friends in Ireland.

The bed was so comfortable that I took the pillows out of their covers and made a note of the make!

When I returned home I ordered a pair (of the Spundown pillows) with covers. Mary and I have never been so comfortable. They really are the best!

I had some 'King Size' pillows from John Lewis when I bought my bed five years ago but they've gone all flat and lumpy and to replace them would have cost much more than yours and they were not so big. The two king size spundown pillows cover my Super Kingsized bed from edge to edge.

I first heard about them when I visited my daughter and she, in turn, had been recommended by the proprietor of a B&B where she had stayed. She had commented on how comfortable they had been and the proprietor did all the 'marketing spiel' and told her how good they were to wash and that they didn't lose their shape - so I ordered some immediately.
