"Lovely soft pillows"

Rating The Spundown pillows which I have had for many years now are still as they were on day one. They wash perfectly at 60 degrees C, and dry beautifully, no lumps, no bumps, perfect just as on day one. Compared with the perfect balance pillows, they are slightly softer for those who prefer a softer, 'cuddlier' top pillow (I can't think of a better description!) and so according to how I want to be for the night, I choose one or the other type for my top pillow. Rating I had some 'King Size' pillows from John Lewis when I bought my bed five years ago but they've gone all flat and lumpy and to replace them would have cost much more than yours and they were not so big. The two spundown king size pillows cover my Super Kingsized bed from edge to edge.
I first heard about them when I visited my daughter and she, in turn, had been recommended by the proprietor of a B&B where she had stayed. She had commented on how comfortable they had been and the proprietor did all the 'marketing spiel' and told her how good they were to wash and that they didn't lose their shape - so I ordered some immediately. Rating I had been using feather pillows for years and find the Spundown pillows (medium support) far superior, more even support and comfort. Rating Last summer I spent a couple of days in B&B at a delightful cottage in Borrowdale (in the Lake District). My partner, Mary, was away spending a 'girlie' birthday weekend with friends in Ireland. The bed was so comfortable that I took the pillows out of their covers and made a note of the make! When I returned home I ordered a pair Spundown pillows. Mary and I have never been so comfortable. They really are the best! (Posted on 17/12/2012)
