Choosing a Duvet
The Tog is the warmth rating of a duvet. The higher a Tog the warmer it will be. Don't confuse warmth with weight - a lightweight down duvet can be very warm indeed!
3.0 Tog - For summer use and for children who get very hot in bed
4.5 Tog - For summer use, also for some children who prefer cooler duvets
6.0 Tog - For spring and autumn use in warmer homes, or for summer if you tend to get cold in bed or live in a cooler part of the country
9.0 Tog - For spring and autumn use, or for winter if you get very hot in bed
10.5 Tog - For spring and autumn use, or for winter in warmer homes
13.5 Tog - For winter use in cooler homes
13.5 Tog Four Seasons - A combination of two duvets (4.5 Tog and 9.0 Tog) which can be used individually or together to provide comfort whatever the season! The duvets fix together with buttons or poppers.
A natural filled duvet is a sound investment and treated well will last for many years. Synthetic duvets are great value and a practical choice for allergy sufferers or for frequent laundering.
You'll notice each of the natural duvets from The Fine Bedding Company have a high fill power. This is the volume occupied by a natural filling and varies depending on the quality. The higher the fill power the finer the quality of the down and the greater its ability to provide insulation and warmth. A high fill power also indicates that the product will retain its performance for many years longer.

Duck down duvet For a wonderfully lightweight summer duvet which provides that little bit extra warmth for use in cooler parts of the country, this duck down 6 tog down duvet is filled with the 60% duck down and 40% of the finest quality duck feathers. The cover is made of 100% cotton cambric. All sizes of single, double, king and super king are available as a 6 tog duvet.

Goose down duvet The goose down duvet is great quality and superb value. Made with 60% soft goose down and 40% goose fine feathers, with downproof 100% cotton cambric cover. All sizes of single, double, king and super king are available as 4.5, 10.5, 12, 13.5 tog and 13.5 Four Seasons.

Premium 80% goose down duvet Affordable luxury is 80% pure goose down, 20% pure goose feather and a 100% fine cotton jacquard cover. This premium quality goose down duvet. All sizes of single, double, king and super king are available in 3 tog and 10.5 tog.

Lysoft Hungarian goose down duvet The Lysoft® Hungarian goose down duvet is a superbly light and luxuriously soft duvet, made with 90% Hungarian goose down. The cover is made from a fine spun blend of Lysoft® and Cotton, a fabric which is softer and more breathable than Egyptian cotton. All sizes of single, double, king and super king are available as 4.5, 10.5, 12, 13.5 tog and 13.5 Four Seasons.

Mulberry silk duvet
The new Mulberry silk duvet is a light, blissfully soft duvet filled with 100% mulberry silk. The cover is made from a fine spun blend of Lysoft® and Cotton. All sizes of single, double, king and super king available as a 200g (equivalent to 4 tog) and 400g (equivalent to 6-8 tog).

Spundown duvet
The extremely light, highly compressible microfibre filling of the Spundown duvet makes it particularly light as well as very soft, with good drape qualities. For those looking for an easy-care washable duvet, look no further, as all sizes of this award-winning duvet fit into a domestic washing machine and may be washed at 60°C, the temperature that kills dust mites, absolutely ideal for allergy sufferers. Furthermore, the duvet casing is made from a fine quality, lightweight 100% polyester peachskin fabric which dries faster than other fabrics and is crease resistant. All sizes of single, double, king and super king are available as 4.5, 9 tog and 13.5 Four Seasons. The 10.5 and 13.5 tog duvets are available in sizes: single, double and king.
